Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected changes can arise. Due to the nature of retreat planning, including accommodation, facilitators, and venue costs, our cancellation policy is as follows:
Deposits and Payments
A deposit is required to secure your place on any Remedy Retreat. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
The remaining balance is due two months before the retreat start date. Failure to pay the full balance by this deadline will be considered a cancellation by the participant. The deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee, and the reserved spot may be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Cancellations
Prior to the final balance due: If you cancel before the remaining balance is due, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. No additional payments will be refunded.
After the final balance due but more than 21 days before the retreat start: Cancellations made after the final balance is due, but more than 21 calendar days prior to the retreat, will result in forfeiture of all payments made excluding the non-refundable deposit. Payments may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future retreat within 12 months, subject to availability and organiser discretion.
Within 21 days of the retreat start: Cancellations made within 21 calendar days of the retreat start date will result in forfeiture of all payments, including the deposit. No refunds or credits will be issued, regardless of reason, including illness or personal emergencies.
Transfer of Reservation
You may request to transfer your reservation to another individual up to 5 calendar days before the retreat start date. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval by the organiser.
Transfers within 5 days of the retreat start date are not permitted.
Force Majeure and Unforeseen Circumstances
The organiser is not liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration of the retreat due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, public health emergencies (including COVID-19), travel bans, or airline cancellations.
In such cases, no refunds will be issued. Participants may be offered a credit equal to the amount paid, excluding the deposit, which may be applied to a rescheduled or future retreat within 12 months, subject to availability.
Health and Illness
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and able to travel and participate in retreat activities.
No refunds or credits will be provided if you are unable to attend due to illness, including testing positive for COVID-19, or for any related travel disruptions.
Comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for illness, cancellations, and travel interruptions, is strongly recommended.
No Shows and Early Departures
No refunds or credits are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
