Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected changes can arise, but due to the nature of retreat planning—including accommodation, facilitators, and venue costs—our cancellation policy is as follows:
Deposits & Payments
A deposit is required to secure your place on any Remedy Retreat. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The remaining balance is due no later than February 1, 2026, for participation in the March 2026 retreat.
Failure to remit full payment by this deadline shall be deemed a cancellation by the participant. In such event, the participant’s reservation may be forfeited and offered to an individual on the waiting list. The deposit paid shall be non-refundable and retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations Made on or After February 1, 2025
Cancellations received on or after February 1, 2025, are non-refundable. However, payments made (excluding the non-refundable deposit) may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future retreat occurring within twelve (12) months of the originally scheduled retreat date, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the organizer.Cancellations Made Prior to February 1, 2026: If you cancel your participation prior to February 1, 2026, and before submitting the full payment, your deposit shall be deemed non-refundable and non-transferable. No credit or refund will be issued under any circumstances.
Cancellations Within Twenty-One (21) Days of the Retreat Start Date: Cancellations made within twenty-one (21) calendar days of the retreat start date (March 5, 2026) will result in the forfeiture of all payments made. No refunds or credits will be issued, regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness or personal emergency.
Transfer of Reservation: You may request to transfer your reservation to another individual up to five (5) calendar days before the retreat start date. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval by the organiser. No transfers will be permitted within five (5) days of the retreat start date.
Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances: The organiser shall not be held liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration of the retreat due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to: natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, pandemic, government restrictions, public health emergencies (including COVID-19), travel bans, or airline cancellations.
In such cases, no refunds will be issued. However, participants will be offered a credit equal to the amount paid (excluding the deposit), which may be applied to a rescheduled or future retreat within twelve (12) months, subject to availability.Health & Illness Policy (Including COVID-19): Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and able to travel and participate in the retreat. No refunds or credits will be provided if you are unable to attend due to illness, including testing positive for COVID-19, or for any related travel disruptions.
It is strongly recommended that participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for illness, cancellations, and travel interruptions. No Shows & Early Departures: No refunds or credits are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
